Computer Storage Home
Computer storage - when it's inside your computer, it is just there an works, right? Most of the time you certainly don't have to think about it. That's the way it should be.
The three times that you need to know about computer storage are:
Insufficient Memory to store file
Disk Error reading or writing file
Copy/Move Files to remote location
We'll introduce you to 3 types of computer storage. The first are the "hard" disk drives that typically stay inside your computer and can be seen in Windows as [C:]. These store your programs and data (magnetically) when you shut off the computer. The second are optically recorded disks such as CD and DVD. The third are the portable memory devices that, although often called drives, are simple memory components.
Within this site, you'll find our top product recommendations, links to component vendors, and some short, helpful tips in our Articles section.
